Weber River Smallies? - MI_Steelheader - 07-08-2008 This morning, while fishing the Weber at Wanship I landed a pretty respectable (by Utah bass standards)smallmouth on a big sculpin. I had no idea there were any smallies in that stretch. That's a pretty good hike from Echo. Maybe he got washed down from Rockport. Incidentally, the browns liked the sculpin just as much as the smallmouth. The biggest brown landed was about 16 inches. All in all, not a bad way to start the day and all before work!
