Woke up early this am and couldn't go back to sleep so i headed out to UL for a little cat fishing. On the way in an old timer flagged me down and i had to pull a hook out of his thumg, ouch, but he did keep fishing. I managed to catch a bluegill and white bass on a bobber and worm. Then the old timer gave me a chunk of carp meat and i managed to catch 2 channel cats and lost a few more. The old timer told me the action was better early, i didn't get there until around 8 am. one of the cats nearly pulled my pole in and would have if it didn't get stuck on a rock before i could grab it. Fun times and not too bad for 2 hrs of fishing.
