Went fishing yesterday on the south fork and had a ball. The salmon fly hatch is officially on!! It looks like it just started. Right now it is in between twin bridges and heise bridge. The water is still off colored, but with a little patience, you can get into some nice fish.

Thanks for the report. I do not know if one more drift boat could fit on the river from the looks of the ramps.[cool]

It wasn't too bad on wednesday, but today I heard that same sort of story. The one I heard though was that the farmers were having a hard time getting enought water past the boats to irrigate!![sly] Oh well, I guess it is good that I am at work and not doing any of the July 4th weekend combat fishing there.
