Are there any people fishing Devils Creek these days?

Fished there a few weeks ago and caught quite a few rainbows and kokanee on the north end in my float tube. Between hubby and I, we were there a few hours and left with 7 fish

I fished there during the ice fishing derby last winter. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of fish that I caught. Two at 18.5" and 3 between 16 and 17. If you are after some decent hold over fish, this might be the place to go.

They were all probably about 18" long at the longest... my "big trout" looks like a guppy next to my large mouth bass last week at Glendale (near preston)... The fish that we caught in Glendale were a tad bit bigger than the ones that we caught at Devil's Creek... all about a 12-18 inches long...

Cute little town! We are actually in the process of moving there. We love to go fishing in the Preston/Soda area... all the little lakes and Chesterfield
We went to Condie and I saw a lot of bass in the water, but they were just little guys swimming near the shore. Glendale is our favorite though... Hubby is from Idaho and loves to fish for trout. I'm originally from Oklahoma and love to bass fish... So, we prefer those lakes. Devils Creek is where I caught my first trout ever [signature]

Have you taken a look at Twin Lakes or Weston yet? Man, Sparky and I need to get up there, not during the 4th though.! Had a fantastic 2 1/2 days at the Flaming Gorge last week. Take a look at my post on the Ut. forum, "bassun the Gorge", pics. and every thing. Kind of far for ya to go though, huh! Well, maybe you can enjoy the post since your a bassun lady.
