Glendale - catchandrelease - 06-16-2008
Went out Saturday morning to see if we could get anyting to bit. We fished the east end from out Pontoon boats. We got there and we caught 6 crappie really fast. Than the wind picked up and the fishing slowed way down. We fished about another 2 hours with nothing more to show. We got back to the truck walked up the road an noticed a lot of bluegill in right next to the bank. Got the fly rods out again and fished from the bank for another hour. We caught ten our twelve more just from the bank and missed at least that many more. I think they are starting to move in really shallow to spawn. Caught several nice crappie and bluegill. Also saw some nice bass in close to the the shore. The water temp was 57*.
