Kolob Reservoir - Sat May 3, 2003 Fishing Report - southernman - 05-04-2003 I met hedgesd and his bro at kolob res about 9:30 am . . with storm clouds moving in fast, I hastily put on more layers of clothing and watched them each bring in a nice fish before i could get my poles outta the trunk . . they were using brown wooly buggers and fly rods . . i rigged my spinning rod up with a jig . . .they each caught a couple more while i missed strikes . . i switched to a black bugger and spinning bubble and caught one . . i switched to a brown bugger like them and caughta couple more! it kept snowing on and off . . .almost like a pebble hail . . then the sun would shine thru the clouds. . wild! a real nice morning! these guys have fished southern utah all their lives and i want to thank them for taking me out! we had pretty fast action going for 2 hrs or so . .
