Let's all thank ol' TubeDude - GEEZER - 06-01-2008
I just read through Pats latest on filleting a wiper, cookin' it & salvaging the rest of the meat. Now, I'm not too computer savvy but I can tell you all it takes quite a bit of work to put together a presentation like this.
I haven't gone back & searched out all the other presentations like this that he has put together but I know there are a lot of them. I've poked around some of the boards from other states & figure the Utah board is the best of all. A lot of that comes from quality posting and quality work by the moderators.
I sure don't want to slight the rest of our Utah Mods 'cause they all do a top notch job but I think the TubeDude does a whopping big service to us all with his wisdom & work and I just want to openly thank the guy. Whaddya say we all give him a thank you note?

Anytime I mention BFT to a stranger on the ramp or a guy at the Sportsman's Warehouse they will mention tubedude and say they fished with him at some time or another or that they seen him here or there and what he was doing technique-wise. He's kind of a local celebrity. I have been on the site for two years on and off and under a few different names and I've always found TD to be super helpful with his posts and his knowledge.

There is no question about it. I am a better fisherman because of TD. I will be even better than I ever could have thought to be, because of TubeDude. I remember reading a couple years ago one of his write-ups/lectures that he made for Utah Lake walleye. I was baffled, read it a couple times, read many more of his articles, then met him. It was great. Men like Pat are rare. Fishermen like Pat are almost non-existent.
Thanks Pat for everything that you do for our community, and all the individuals that will always be benefited now from crossing paths with you.

I have been a lifelong student of all things fishing, and have had the benefit of a lot of help from a lot of other people.
