Need Hyrum or Pineview report - Scooter - 05-01-2003
I finally got back into town after 8 months and ready to go fish. Does anyone have recent reports for bass at hyrum and Pineview?

I was fishing Pineview last Sunday. we were fishing the south end across from the swim beach. We caught alot of cats and carp and my son get 1 nice smallie on a worm.There were a few other people fishing down from us, did not see them pull anything in.

Scooter,we fished Hyrum a couple weeks ago and trolled rainbow rapala on mono with no weight and 1 with small popgear and did fairly good. cought most of the fish between ramp and swim beach!!'BIG FISH RULE"M.H.

I was trying for Muskies last weekend at Pineview and had a fish chasing my lure . It look more like a smallmouth than a muskie , but I was facing the sun . I did talk to a guy fishing for muskie that said he had caught several SM at Pineview this spring already . I'm a rookie at Pineview except during ice fishing . Never been skunked ice fishing Pineview . Just no nice sized fish yet . Tight lines

I fished Hyrum Mon-Thurs. and caught a lot of hatchery pets. I mainly fished along the northeast shore 30' deep with a gold and silver Jakes. I've tried about everything else but I keep going back to them. I have not talked to any one that has caught many bass I think its still a little cold.
