back in the game - grahamcracker - 05-12-2008 so after a couple rather unsuccessful outings this year i finally pulled in some quality stripers out at boxcar. hitting the same point that worked well last summer, i got the biggest offshore that i can ever remember pulling in myself, 28in and just over 6lbs. got another nice 4lb fish and a few little guys to keep it interesting. the pictures dont really do her justice, figures the time i forget the camera is always when i need one. had to run into the calville store and grab a disposable. cant wait for next weekend!!! Used to find large boils over there. Maybe it deserves another look. Great report. BaySport [signature] Re: [grahamcracker] back in the game - TheWhizzle - 05-12-2008 Very cool. Nice work on the new personal best from shore! [signature] Re: [grahamcracker] back in the game - stripercraze - 05-12-2008 Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![ ![]() Did you catch the on top water lures? Great pic's hope they taste as good as they look. Stripercraze [signature] Re: [stripercraze] back in the game - grahamcracker - 05-13-2008 [left]Thanks guys... No, I never get much success with lures it seems. Don't have the patience I guess. Cut anchovies are the only way I get fish. Chum up a bag and let them hit it on it's way down usually.
