bait fridge temp - bwhitty - 03-05-2008

I just got a used mini fridge to keep my nightcrawlers and other bait in but does any body know what temp to keep it in there for the crawlers to be comfy? (so I can kill them later)

I buy my crawlers from Verlo Ottley on the Westside who grows them commercially and he says keep them at 40 degrees.
