I headed over to Deep Cr on saturday. got there about 6:30am. Ice was still in good conditon, the edges are getting soft but I made it on without much problem. about a foot of ice on the lake. Fishing was good. I caught around 20-25 fish. I left about 11:30. white and green seemed to be the best colors. I did not catch anything over 16". I was hoping to find some bigger fish but no luck for me. Fishing was good and conditions were good as well. Parking: I had to park on the north east side of the lake, I think its quite a walk anywhere else right now. They did plow the little parking by the lake on the northeast side.
Most of the fish I caught have the black spot. I think its getting in most all the lakes in the preston area.
