Briggs & Stratton kicker - Turkeyflacx2 - 02-15-2008 Does anyone have one of those Briggs and Stratton 5 hp 4 cycle kickers? I would like to get a 4 stroke kicker and these are only 500 bucks but I would like to know how good they are.Easy to start and reliable? How about performance in cold weather winter climates? If you want a good kicker motor, you need to stick with the companies that make marine motors for a living. Evinrude, Mercury, Johnson, and even Honda is making a fine motor now. Spend the money now, or you'll under go a lot of heart ace later. Tman is correct when he says to pickup a used outboard to use. Should be able to find one for $500.00 [signature] |
