striper fishing in November - supergrover - 01-20-2008
Went salt water striper fishing for the first time just across the bay from Manhatten in November. Fishing was fast and furious most of the morning. Just followed the gulls around. I caught the big fish of the day. Here is the photo of it.

It's a blast isn't it. 30 years ago just to catch a keeper you got into a paper. Now I can fish for stay overs in March before bass season. Some times fish management works.Congrads on the lunker for the day.

Way to go supergrover and congrats on the big one. I love striper fishing too. Where I am at, the stripers are land locked but they do get over 50lbs. That is a lot of fun on light tackle.[cool]
