We will be heading up to East Canyon. Last year on New Years Day my friend pulled a 5lb rainbow out of there. This year I need to beat it!!

the road was not plawed the other day when i was there. the Iron ranger was a block of ice.. the raod was not bad tho and as long as ya got good tires you will be ok..
just walk out to the east side of the Island get about 40 feet from the shoure and you will be heading home with your 10 perch in about 10 min's.. good luck to ya! [sly]

just a fyi to you need to pay for a day pass to use rockport cause its being watched well. so dont get a ticket. ill be using my state park's pass

I have a group gathered upt to go to the Gorge. We are leaving at 8 am to be in Rock Springs (Wyo) by 11 to get a bite to eat and our new stamp for the year, then headind down to Lost dog.

Me and reelfast hit Echo today started today at 8:00 a.m. and fished until 1 P.M.fast action for perch landed about 70 all from 4" to 11" and also 3 rainbows, 1 brown, 1 whitefish. We were catching the perch in 28 feet of water on the bottom and trout were suspended. If you want perch this is the place to go.
