Is the Snake river fishable around the Blackfoot/Shelly area? I'm curious since there is a report that AF res is iced over.
I might be up that way on Sunday and was hoping to do a little fishing.

I doubt the ice is much of a problem on the Snake between American Falls and Gem Lake currently. It is going to take some colder weather to make it unfishable.

I have been told there is ice on the river by gifford springs
