susky or Juniata - tailgrabber - 12-21-2007 Has anyone fished the Susky or the Juniata in Ducannon recently? [signature] Re: [tailgrabber] susky or Juniata - fsh4fun05 - 12-22-2007 I've never fished either one but after doing a search looking for some info. (I love this board) it looks like some great fishing for the bronzebacks. I would post the question in the Pennsylvania board for maybe an up to date report but don't leave me hangin'. I want to know too [cool]. [signature] Re: [fsh4fun05] susky or Juniata - tailgrabber - 12-22-2007 There is not much happening on the Pa boards. I have fished that area for smallies and it was great, But I had heard there was a fish kill there about a yr or2 ago. curious as to if there has been a rebound yet. Plus you can see Osprey and Bald Eagle flying around. [signature] Re: [tailgrabber] susky or Juniata - fsh4fun05 - 12-22-2007 I have some friends in Maine. How far is that from Portland, Maine? [signature] Re: [fsh4fun05] susky or Juniata - tailgrabber - 12-23-2007 It's a bit farther north than portland. It's in the Bangor area. I used to fish it when I was picking up boats from the old town factory. But if you have friends in Portland take advantage of the summer strippers in the new meadows area Strawberry cove is a lot of fun when you catch the tide right. [signature] |
