Well,went to causey this morning arrived about 7:30am temp was -2 there was one other guy and girl on the ice so we (me and the wife)unloaded the gear and headed for the ice acces was good the ice was a good solid 3.5in and fishing was fast for small splake and a few real small tigers no kokes and nothing over 14" but overall it was just nice to be on the hard water!!But I think i will head for woodruff next!!

Thats good you have ice to walk on, I am not going out untill the ice gets hard here in Colorado, last year we went in mid December and had a close call. What state are you ice fishing at?
