Henry's Lake Conditions - BMURR - 11-26-2007
Has anybody been by Henry's in the last few days? I'm curious if it frozen or if it is still fishable from a toon. Any help would be great. I was hoping to make a trip up there this Friday since it will be the last day to fish it.

It's frozen. Talked to Damon at the hatchery.
People are fishing through the ice.

Henry's is frozen but the ice isn't very thick. Measured the ice at 2 1/2" when I was there a couple days ago. The ice cracked loud several times and one time water rushed out of a large crack by my feet. I thought I was going for a swim. Ice is probably a little thicker now but be careful if you go out there.
I was able to catch some around the Staley's area but wasn't able to get any big ones that I was hoping to catch. When other fishermen started to surround me the fishing slowed way down. Expect plenty of other fishermen in the popular areas. F&G was also patrolling it heavily. In 6 hours I saw the F&G come by 4 times.
