Fish finder under 32 degrees? - gdn443 - 11-11-2007

Having installed a new finder this spring with color read out, does this make it more sensitive to the cold?? Should I be taking it off the boat for the winter? Never took of the old one and it worked fine.

you should bring them in when your not useing them.just about all screens are LCD(liquid crystal display) which freezes in cold weather, and cause damage to the display
