anybody heard how henrys is doing? Thinking about heading up there this weekend but it depends on what I hear. I am so excited as I have not been fishing in a long time and I hope to be able to start really contributing to this site.

It was tough 2 weekends ago mostly because of the weather.
If you get weather that you can get out on the lake- try out in front of the hatchery.

Just got a report of a slow day at Henry's but the wind may have been the main reason.
If you can hit the weather right I'm sure you could have a good day.

The success rate is all weather related right now. I was there a couple of weeks ago and did not have a good day, but the wind was howling and the water was stirred up so bad the visibility was less than a foot.
I heard good reports from others that fished a couple of days before me and they said the water was clear and calm. So I would say it really depends on the wind this weekend.

I would expect Henry's to start to freeze if we get some cooler temps here in the next few weeks. Did anybody ice fish it last year? I believe the ice was on the last week of November.
