Thanks for posting the update. I read about it a few days ago in the local paper. A quote made it sound like Twin Lakes Canal Company still thinks the dam will be built. IMO the dam is a sinking boat. Unless something significant happens the boat will soon be under water.

The individual in the paper is an eternal optimist. My Dad works up at the Oneida Narrows and has felt that there wasn't a chance for this dam since the beginning. I always get a little nervous after reading updates in the paper, but after looking at the facts, it does seem like a long shot. It sure would be a shame if they put that place underwater.

Yes- I always thought it was a long shot also . I fished the area in question this last week and enjoyed a 1/2 day of streamer fishing and another 1/2 fishing BWO's for risers.
