How do you prepare for a fishing trip? - jefffinlay - 10-05-2007
Based upon my 40 years of fishing experience, I have published a new site www.GetReadyToFish.com. I explain my method of preparing for any fishing trip including knowing the species I am going after, its environment and selecting the right equipment.
While this method has been great for me, I know other experienced anglers approach things differently. I would like to hear what other approaches are successful for inclusion on my site.

Great site. One of things I do to prepare is talk to any knowledgeable fisherman. And 40 years is a heck of a lot of experience, so I'd listen up to what you say. I also start making lures! The way I fish I loose a lot of lures, but I can make new ones quick and for free.
