Fish Bones - boneman - 09-28-2007 [font "Times New Roman"][size 3]I recently started up a business that produces skeletal fish art. It’s kind of a hybrid between traditional taxidermy and museum preparation. I am looking for some input as to what species are big in this area (salt or fresh water) and what would make a cool skeleton. Check out some our work @ www.helterskeletons.com and let me know what you think.[/size][/font] [signature] Re: [boneman] Fish Bones - tubeN2 - 09-28-2007 Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing your website with us. If you are looking for some more species in your area, you could always cover some of the Sharks that aren't protected.[cool] [signature] Re: [tubeN2] Fish Bones - boneman - 09-29-2007 Sharks are cool, but they are mainly cartiledge (not much bone). Their jaws come out pretty cool though. [signature] |
