locked gates - icefool - 04-02-2003
Does anyone know why the gates are locked at lost reek. They were open most of the winter. Why do they have them locked now.

From what i understand in the years past, the gates are locked until the first of May. There was recently a post about this very situation. If you cannot find it try the Utah DWR chat room.

Thanks for the info chefwhofishes. The proclomation states that is open year round starting this year. I know there was a tado about opening the gates to the icefisherman, and I was sure glad they did, it got a little hard pulling the ice tents up that road.
