Lafayette Reservoir 8/22/07 - MinnowMagnet - 08-23-2007 I got there at 1:00pm with night crawlers at the "L" dock and caught two 10" bass and a 12" bass. Then at 5:30 I moved to the handicapped dock with anchovy and night crawler after ten minutes I got a 10" bass. Then at 6:00 I got a nice redear sunfish which is now in the tank at the visitor center. Then at 6:30 I took my catfish rod over to my spot in the tulies and missed a hit, then hooked up after ten minutes of getting him out of the tulies I got him up, 8.1lbs. Then at 7:00 I threw out my bass rod with a whole nightcrawler and caught a 13" bass. Then I left at 7:30pm. I used fish that area when I was a kid. Have you been to any of those ponds near Walnut Creek? There is some good action there too.
