CJ Strike Report - Fishtoe - 07-27-2007
Hello All
I have been fishing the Snake Arm of CJ....launching from the USAF Rec site and doing very well on SM (over 12") and Perch (some 14+)
I am using a drop shot set up in 15-25 feet of water off rocks and points. I rig my drop shot hook only 12-15" above the weight. I head hook any small soft plastic as long as it is Brownish with a Chartreuse tip. I like the leech type baits the best. See photo.
This method is producing 10-12 fish per hour for me....I am sure it will do the same for you.

thanks for the info. I was at CJ too this weekend, but just below the dam looking for something a little bigger. between our group of about 6 people we fought about 20 sturgeon, landing about 9 or ten, the biggest going about 7.5 feet.
So if anyone's interested, they're biting pretty well.
