What kind of boat do you guys use? How do you have it rigged up?
Are you members of any local Bass Clubs?
I was out at the new PFA on Hwy 41 the other day. Looks like its still only about half full. We sure need that in Houston County... Anybody know when its supposed to open? That will be a great place to fish and have some mid GA picnics... [

I have two boats. I have a 17' Tracker with a 60 hp Mercury and a 70 pound thrust trolling motor for Lake Sinclair and any road trips. It's also rigged with rod holders, so it makes a good catfishing rig, too.
My other boat is a little 9 1/2 foot Bass Hunter with a 40 pound thrust trolling motor. I use this for ponds, electric-only lakes and shallow rivers.
I'm not a member of any bass clubs, but I know there is at least one here in Milledgeville. I've thought about joining one, though I think I should improve my fishing skills first!
