Need identification - fishingbub - 07-19-2007
I didn't know where to post this but i recently went out fishing and managed to net what i believe to be a bass fry. I took a picture of

Is this just a baitfish or is it really a bass fry?

I saw the picture. It definitely was a Bass fry.
I had to delete it for the time being. It was way oversized for the allowances of the forum.
Please feel free to resize it to 450pixels wide and re-post it.

Thank you so much I was getting worried for awhile that it may have been a baitfish because when catching them i caught something that looked like a pregnate female guppy that was swimming around with them.

] It makes it easier for others to enjoy your post.As far as the fish go, there are many types of other fish that like to hang around with the baby Bass. They feel safer in #s and on another note, the Bass will grow up and think that they are friends so they won't try to eat them.[cool]
