june 23 report - DJFISHS2XS - 06-24-2007
Had a great day..the river slowed down a little but we fished for 8 hours (4 to noon) we left Oak Harbor at 2am ouch...I lost count of how many fished I hooked but handled 9...took home a nice pair of twins, released a 20+ native and had another run most of my line out running upstream before it turned around where I got most of my line back on the spool and then it did the same thing going down stream....it Broke off when I tried to keep it from going down to the next log jammed pool.

no thats a G-loomis with a castaic reel,,,I wore the drag washer out so now Im using my calcutta TE..not to happy about that I love that reel for steelhead/silvers I hope them big kings arnt to hard on it...DJ
