Float tube recommendation - baetisman - 06-20-2007 Can anyone recommend somewhere that I can get my boys into some fish from their float tubes. We've been to Mantua and caught smaller fish, but are looking for some with size. We would need somewhere that we can still find fish in about 15 feet of water or less, because our sinking lines just don't get down any more. With all of this hot weather, is there anywhere left that we have a shot? However, you must promise not to tell anyone. You also may be required to spend some $$$ on gas. Randolph Resevoir would be a great place to take kids in a float tube. There is not a lot of pressure and the water level is going down quickly. There are rainbows in the 12" range which is not very big, but great for kids. Good Luck... [signature] |
