Carp on fly - SC_flyguy - 06-04-2007 Hey just thought I would post a few pics of a Carp I landed on my flyrod. This beast was tailing in some shallows and sucked in a leach pattern. It was a nice battle! I caught one that size on an ultra light w/ a dough ball a few years ago, I couldn't imagine that guy on a fly rod. I bet that was one hell of a fight. Thanks for sharing the pic's. I know there are alot of carp in the local rivers around here, but I never target them for what ever reason. I might have to adjust my tactics for them on my next trip.
