Fishing!

This 10 Step Procedure comes from personal Experience. (last month)

Step 1: Plan a Kayak Fishing trip.

Step 2: Don't check the weather forcast at all.

Step 3: Paddle out about 2 miles into open water.

Step 4: Face away from and don't notice the dark clouds looming in and don't pay atention to the wind picking up.

Step 5: Get spun around while reeling in you're line to notice a forked lighting strike coming from the general direction where you need to put back in at.

Step 6: Look around in a panic and realize that there are no boats or anything at all for 2 miles in any direction.

Step 7: Prepare for 12-20 minutes the fastest and most panicked paddleing you've ever done.

Step 8: Make it back to shore, Pack up your YAK and walk it into you're garage mere seconds before Lightning strikes a boat mast 200 yeards away from you.

Step 9: Colapse in a heap and nearly throw up from the exertion

Step 10: Bask in how good it feels to be alive and start making solum vows to yourself reguarding checking the weather and whatnot.

That is a good work out. There is one more step to add as well.

11. Add Saltwater.[shocked]

I have had some nice swells kick up suddenly from offshore storms. They suddenly create a riptide and start to pull you out further. You have now added 4 miles to your adventure because it is necessary to paddle parrallel to the shore to offsett the extra pull.[pirate]
