Big Carp - Apocalypse - 05-26-2007
Check it out, I caught a 33" carp on the Provo this evening, Maybe not the coolest fish but it was a hell of a fight and the largest fresh water fish yet.
I did catch and release but I don't think it survived the release... Poor carp.
Not a great pic but I'm glad there was someone there with a cell phone camera at least.

The Carp Kingdom, while not part of the Almighty Chub Empire, is respectable regime. While not as graceful and elegant as the chub, the carps fortitudinous spirit and muscular endowment far exceeds that of a bass, and thus is a superior fish.

[#0000ff]Over on the float tubing board we have a guy (ZONKER) from Oregon who regulary fishes carp with flies. Here is a pic of a monster 28 pounder he caught last week, on a seven weight fly rod.[/#0000ff]

I can't help it I'm a man and I cant help but look at other fish, and if I stray once in a while it's just my instincts are too strong for me to control. And besides it was an accident Yeah i was flippin' my tube jig that way but I really never thought she'd accept my offer... Now I have to live with the regret that I let you down... I'm sorry, I'll never do it again. Besides she really didn't mean that much to me.
