Fish Species ? - davetclown - 04-12-2007 what are the most saught after species in this state? I know there is the large mouth bass tournies here, but I never get to hear about the other species... In the northern part of the state you can find alot of trout. Of course alot of people like catfish but they have a bad taste once they get over 2 1/2 to 3 pounds. I'd say crappie are probably the most sought after fish to eat in the state, in middle georgia they call the silver perch. I personally wont eat bass just because I want to catch them again and again. But I think crappie have the best taste of any warm water freshwater fish. [signature] |
