Utah lake report - fsh4fun05 - 04-02-2007
I fished the northern part of the lake today. Fishing was great, catching could have been better. It was perfect weather, cloudy and warm with no w.... Fished from 9-5pm, bankers hours [
]. I ended up with 3 white bass and 2 catfish all caught on grubs. Temperature was 52 at AF and 53-53.8 near the outlet. Shouldn't be long now and the channels will start feeding fiercly. The carp were lined up on the edge of the reeds like civil war soldiers. There was a ski boat that took off real fast about 400 yds. away and the rumble made the carp go crazy. It looked like the reedline was boiling as far as I could see.
