Battery box - fish1on - 03-16-2007
Found this very cool setup for my toons electric.
the external studs are insulated and there is a cig lighter plug to hook my fish finder to. Nice heavy duty handle on top of box as well.

[black][size 3]That is cool, but you can build one for a lot less money. I bought a regular battery box around $7. and bought these easy clips. Also, put an in line fuse. Would be a piece of cake to add a lighter.[/size][/black]

I've never thought of using connectors for hooking up to the battery, but you have provided me a great way to go.

[black][size 3]Even have the big clip on a short wire with bolts on the end for charging it. Just plug it in like the motor, then connect a charger. Don't have to take the lid off at all.[/size][/black]
