Willow Park Pond, Murray - Wasatch801 - 03-08-2007
Went with a friend to the park this afternoon after work was over. He caught 3 trout. 2 bows were caught on a nymph (PT or similar). He ended the evening with a small laker caught on the surface with a PMD!!!! The previous night he also took 2-3 trout, including a few browns. I did happen to see some bass swimming around also. A young boy caught a decent one on a crawler. I ended the night with nothing. But I did end up spending half of my time teaching a young lad (~7 yo) how to properly cast his flyrod....almost as good as catching fish! He was about 10 times better after only 10 mins of instruction.... If you were wondering....yes, I asked his dad if it was okay for me to teach him a few things!
Although kinda crowded after 5pm, it might be worth going here with a kid to teach em to fish.

nice report! I like going to a local pond and hand roll a nymph when I get a spare hour or two.
