Lake Buchanan Guide Report - JimF - 03-01-2007 Lake Buchanan: Water clear; 53-54 degrees; 998.29': 14 Feet Below Monthly Average Largemouth are good to 5 lbs in 5'-10' along breaklines of flats in deepest creeks using 1/4 oz. white spinnerbaits, Texas rigged pumpkin Whacky Sticks w/chartreuse tails and white, suspending crankbaits. Stripers are good in 15'-30' around Paradise Point vertically jigging Pirk Minnows, white Curb's striper jigs, trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits and drifting live bait. White Bass are day to day but improving trolling "Down Deep" Shad Raps, jigging Pirk Minnows and Tiny Traps. Crappie N/A.
