Saturday Lake Mead - stripercraze - 02-25-2007
Started out the morning in the dark. It was about 5:30 am. Went to the B-5 cove and started trolling for Mr. Big Striper. There were two boats. My good friend and his son and myself. I got lucky first about a 3 lb 12 oz. Then another 3.5 lb. then after a while another 2 lb 13oz.Then my friend jumped into my boat and gave me some training on some equipment I bought from him. Then we noticed his son approaching us at a fast pace. When he reached us he held up a 4LB 12 oz. with a big fat belly. Pretty sure there was trout in his gut. Then my friends had to leave. I went to the Boulder Beach an attempted to troll but no luck too many sail boats and jet ski's. the Day started out windy but turned into a great day fishing with friends.
