Gem lake? - tech29 - 01-22-2007
Just wondering if anyone has been out to gem lake lately. I am thinking about going out there in the next couple of days. I have heard a couple of reports saying that they have been doing quite well. Any info would be appreciated. Never fished there before so this will be a new one for me.

I fished it a few weeks ago and fished by the dam. I didn't even have a bite but I only had time to fish it a few minutes before dark. I've had some decent days out there ice fishing and fishing open water in the past. I wouldn't expect high catch rates but if you live in Idaho Falls, Gem Lake can be a good choice if you don't have much time to fish.
