Winchester Lake, Revisited. - gdn443 - 11-12-2006

Tough lake to fish. Did a tourney here sat. with ten other boats and only four fish were boated for the day. Winning fish was 2.9lb on a beaver. I got zip again here. The lake is safe from me as I won't be back. They say it's a great place prespawn, but too far of a ride for me to try again. This place does have all the ingredients for a great bass lake.

The only thing that froze was the bite. Again 45 degree water temp. I guess we all shut down at 45 LOL

I'd figure Gregg would like to go back one more time and have it handed to him again.[pirate]
Maybe we can bring some bass and stock the place. Bob F [Wink]

I would have liked to end the season with a fish, but I settled for the new finder. At least I can find them and look at them with the Aqua-View. [Tongue]

You start to shut down at 45, by 50 you'er all done LOL Naw, the only pics I want are in the boat. Been a good year for me. No numbers, but some good size fish. Now I just have to paint the kitchen, [url "http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm801BNUS"][Image: 36_1_29.gif][/url] so I can hang that rainbow.

I hear that, I have one more of the outside walls of the house to paint. I will probably be painting in mid december the way the weather looks.

Well here's two of the do-list things I can cross off. One of the new windows in the kitchen and a new paint job for the same. Wall picture is where my trout will hang when I hopefully get it back next month. Finally my redneck kitchen.
