Looking to do some tarpon fishing from a boat and want to know if 30 pound test with a 80 pound shock liter will do the trick. <br>Gonfishn!<br><br>

I only fished Tarpon one time, in Costa Rica, Great Fun…Great Fish.!!<br><br>We used 25 lb. line, the fish were 100 pound kine & the line was plenty strong, I might even think you could get away with lower.<br>`on a Penn 850 Spinner…[
