Anderson ranch reservoir - idahopanfish - 09-11-2006 Went up there today to see the Kokonee running up the river. Wow has the water droped in the dam from my last visit there about a month ago. Anyways, I used spinners today on an ultra light and caught 2 kokonee, had 2 other kokonee on and one trout, but I just did the quick release. Although one kept my lure, not sure I liked that. HAd three large mouth snags that kept those three lures, so I get to go to Sportsmans Warehouse this week. The catch of the day was a 17 1/2 inch Bull trout, landed in front of a Fish and Wildlife officer who pulled out his most accurate tape measure and verified her length. I'm sorry the camera was to far away to get a picture. She put up a excellent fight and really made my day! My wife, Gloria , and I had a great drive from Pine to Fairfield and then back home to Twin Falls, God is good and His Creation is wondefull.
