The reason Quail Creek is my probable choice for my birthday is the size of the bass in there. Being loaded with big crappie is a bonus....not much that eats better than a big crappie....
I'll have to think about Strawberry. I bet it will be pretty busy, but if there aren't alot of pwc and skiiers, it'll mostly be fishermen. I usually don't do much on holiday weekends, and that's not set in stone yet. Do you know if Pelican lake is used much by the power squadron? I *might* try going out there as well. Nothing like 'gills on the fly.
