As I stated before, I found the seat back slightly uncomfortable. I'm a shortie (5'3"), and while rowing my shoulderblades hit the top of the staidum seat. Eventually I might switch to a padded-hard seat (Swiveled, of course), but for now I'm leaving it alone.
I figured a simple solution would be pipe insulation. I used 3/4" but 1" would have worked as well.
It was a simple cut, form, close. I used zip ties to make it snug.
