fishing today - lunkerhunter2 - 07-25-2006
Took Lil'Lunkerhunter up to a small pond for a few hours to get his cabin fever out of his system. Started off fairly slow for largies but as soon as i rigged his pole with a little tough guy and piece of crawler it was on. We couldn't keep the 11 and 12" gills off for an hour. He got tired from pulling on the rod and fighting the fish. Not to mention the heat, but he had a blast and got some good pics and huge
s. I think the topwater bite is better in the early morns and evenings. Have to go back at night and try it. P.S. The jerky i am selling is here and it is $6 a bag and extremely tasty. If interested pm me and i'll send you some.
