What kind of Rod Holder do you suggest?
I own 3 of everything else-waders/shoes and have a pair of fins on the way.
As to types of rivers- I wouldn't dare fish anything unfamiliar or deep and fast. Mostly gonna be North Carolina /Tenn. Ga mountain streams with beaver dams. I want to bakpack to the dams, fish the ponds with the float and then run the 1-6 feet deep creeks back to a bridge, where my wife picks me up.
I am going to Colorado Aug 2nd-15th and will take the float tube with me, but there are waters I have researched, that have sections that are commonly tubed. Also, gonna hit a couple of Alpine lakes.
