I hope someone is able to take advantage of the discount. Though I like their product, these guys are notorious for what seems to me to be bait and switch on their website. Several members here have logged on during past promotional sales, only to find out that the very short sale is over. There are some disappointed posts in the archives of this forum.
Note also, that there is a $20 "extra shipping" charge that they add. I've found that if you can find the ODC 420 at a major outlet, you'll usually beat the website price. Just a heads up.
I'd love to be corrected on these things 'cause I like the ODC 420.

I AGREE WITH YOU GUYS. HOWEVER EVEN WITH THE EXTRA SHIPPING YOU'LL STILL SAVE AROUND $20 TO $25, NOT MUCH BUT A LITTLE SOMETHING.

[cool][#0000ff]Yep, ya gotta figure all the angles and all the costs...direct and indirect. Over here in Utah we have a Cabelas now. Whenever it is time to buy something I have to check catalog price against store price and then weigh urgency against shipping charges vs gas to drive 10 miles, etc. And now, since we have a Cabelas in state, we have to pay tax on top of shipping when we order on line. The worst thing is that they often do not carry everything in the store that they have online, or in the same prices or quantities. [/#0000ff]

The extra $20 is on top of the regular shipping, which if I remember right is $15.50. So now shipping is $35.50. The final total is $165.50. the only money you're saving now might be in taxes.

I tried to contact them. It said to email them with an address for total price including shipping. I never heard back from them even after a second email. Since I was going to drive right by Cabela's...
