Caught 30 crappie and 1 pike. The crappie are hitting more around 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m. on minnows. I have tried 2 times right at dark and only get 2-3 fish after fishing for a couple off hours. It is very uncommon to catch crappie during the day.
