My lab had the same treatment from a quillback , then a few weeks later had a run in with a racing cat ( one of those kittys with the racing stripes , skunks ). I don't know which was worse , pulling the quills or the smoke bath . Either one I guess , my hunting partner learned her lesson and hasen't had another run in with either .
